NOLS Backcountry Cooking Videos

With the help of some other members of the creative team, we created these short cooking videos for Instagram. Both of these videos were filmed outside in mid February. Winters in Wyoming are not forgiving but these were still a ball to make.

NOLS has a cook book made for their students out in the back country to help them cook. There were tons of winter courses out this season so we figured we’d give our viewers a taste of what they were missing out on.

 NOLS 50th Anniversary

NOLS or the National Outdoor Leadership School is a non profit global wilderness school that seeks to help people step forward boldly as a leader. They educate their students through classrooms close to home and in remote wilderness areas around the world.

While interning at NOLS I was lucky enough to work on their alumni video testimonials from the 50th anniversary of the school. Hearing how much these alumni have been affected by their courses was very inspiring and it was an amazing opportunity to help tell these people’s stories.

Working alongside the senior producer at NOLS, we compiled interview footage filmed at the 50th anniversary along with recordings from NOLS courses from the 1960’s and photographs of subjects on their NOLS courses.
